Affordable Healthcare

The Problem

Too many people in Ward 9 are making choices no one should ever have to make. Skip the prescription or pay the electric bill. See the doctor or cover rent. Go to the emergency room and worry about the bill later, or don't go at all and hope for the best. Healthcare costs are crushing working families, seniors on fixed incomes, and small business owners trying to provide coverage for their employees or even themselves. This is a daily reality in our community and it's getting worse.

What I’ll Fight For

  • Protecting and expanding Medicaid access for low-income individuals and families in New Hampshire.

  • Reducing prescription drug costs for seniors and working families.

  • Supporting policies that increase healthcare access without increasing the financial burden on individuals and small businesses.

  • Opposing cuts to healthcare programs that Ward 9 families depend on

  • Advocating for mental health services as part of comprehensive healthcare not an afterthought.

No one in Ward 9 should choose between their health and their home. That's not a partisan position. That's a basic standard of dignity that every resident of this community deserves.
